Discarded vehicle – Abandoned Japan

Here’s another seemingly discarded vehicle which I found on the waterfront in the Japanese port city of Shimizu. One of the things which is surprising about this vehicle is the fact that no effort has been made to remove the license tags which, along with the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) might be used to track the vehicle back to the last registered owner. As is often the case with abandoned vehicles in this part of Japan this little Subaru will likely remain in this spot for many years to come with nobody (including law enforcement officials) paying it any mind.
