A life of courage, joy and independence.
Here’s a place which I would never have expected to find and which definitely freaked me out a bit. I found this skeleton of a house while following the very faintest traces of an old trail I located leading away from a deserted farm road. There is no access to this place other than the little trail and as I approached I half expected a human form to emerge from the dark, open doorway to fly at me through the woods. In the end I would up spending a lot of time here and would happily return for a picnic. Nevertheless, just before I left some strange sounds from the deeper woods put my nerves on edge and quickened my pace back to the empty farm road.
I took this image below from a distance as soon as I spotted that abandoned home in the forest. You can barely see the home in the distance. What’s strange is the weird thing which happened to the photo. I took this with my iPhone 4s which has never before done anything like this with a photo. The image has not gone through any editing and none of the other photos I took came out funny. Can you see the house? At the time I took this photo my heart was racing a bit as I definitely did not expect to find any structures back here. I felt a bit like Hansel and Gretel approaching the witches lair.
